scoring SAQ ?

YuChing, I’m afraid that I don’t follow your question. The scoring instructions cover all logical combinations of missing values in the first section of questions — the ones that I think you’re addressing. Please review the instructions again, and I think you’ll find that you can handle whatever patient responses you receive.
Sorry, maybe I misunderstand the instructions. Please clarify that when there are two missing items in the highest level, assign the value of the only one item which is not missing in the highest level to the missing items. Is the statement true? Thank you.

Yu Ching, this discussion is best handled off-line. I’ve followed up with you directly via email.

Hi,
I have a question in the SAQ scoring instrument regarding dealing with missing value. In the instrument, it mentions about the situation for missing only one item in a group and all items in the group. But my question is how to calculate the summary score when there are two items are missing in the group (lowest, middle, and highest levels)?
Please help,
Thank you very much,
