    Hi,

We would like to administer the SAQ to a British population, but to do so, we would need to change some words. Is it possible to do this without invalidating it,

    the issues are

Block – we would pottentially change this to 200 metres/yards

    The question
How bothersome is it for you to take your pills for chest pain, chest
    tightness, or angina as prescribed?

We would like to change to

Does it both you to take your pills ….

    Thanks in advance

Andrea, thanks for your interest. The English (UK) version of the SAQ has specifically been developed and validated for English speakers in the UK, so all appropriate modifications for British populations are already in place.

More generally, it is not appropriate to change any texts on an ad hoc basis such as you request to do. This would invalidate the instrument.
